Il duo francese ha vinto sia con la migliore registrazione dell'anno (Get Lucky) che con il miglior album (Random Access Memories)

Il Grammy Award per la categoria Registrazione dell'anno (Record of the year) è andato a 'Get Lucky', Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams. Il duo formato dai francesi Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo e Thomas Bangalter si sono presentati ai Grammy con i loro futuristici elmetti. Inoltre, 'Random Access Memories' del 'robotico' duo dei Daft Punk ha vinto il Grammy award per il miglior album dell'anno.
